Yes, what you have read is quite right! The speculations have turned true and the shaky news about Coldplay visiting India is finally confirmed. Our beloved band Coldplay will be performing on 19th November in Mumbai which will be a part of their annual charity concert for the Global Poverty Project.
The entire ‘Coldplay’ fuss began since last year, as they had visited India to shoot their video for the song ‘Hymn for the Weekend’. The video also features Sonam Kapoor and got loved by everyone with 5 million views on the very first day of upload.
Coldplay definitely seems to have a soft corner for India. We cannot forget last year’s impromptu gig by the front man Chris Martin with music composer Vishal Dadlani at a café in Delhi. They were cheered on by the musician Raghu Dixit, actress Frieda Pinto and the AIB (All India Bakchod) team. Besides this, Chris and Frieda also met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with the charity team to talk about their project.
We just cant wait for the band to perform officially in India. The venue for the huge event is said to be MMRDA grounds in BKC, Mumbai. So, folks get ready on 19th November for the next mesmerizing gig!
